A little planning. A lovely gathering.

Hosting is a little
act of generosity.

A seat pulled out. A favorite dish passed around. An afternoon that doesn't need to be anything more.

Welcome to Fête & Fig

We are an independent English-language publication about small gatherings: brunches, baby showers, bridal showers, dinner parties, and the tables that bring people together.

Our guides begin with a useful question: what will help someone prepare this in their own home? We bring together a guest count, a flexible menu, a preparation order, and the details that make a table feel considered.

The Fête & Fig editorial desk

Our launch guides are published under the collective byline Fête & Fig Editorial. These are original planning examples, rather than reports from events we claim to have hosted. Quantities are starting estimates, and every plan can be adapted to your guests, budget, space and traditions.

Our current concept images were created with AI to illustrate the visual direction. They are identified on article pages and do not document actual gatherings. We use AI assistance in drafting and production; see our editorial policy for the standards behind the work.

Make it your own

Start with a Baby in Bloom brunch, a garden bridal shower, or an easy-to-plan dinner at home. Borrow the structure, change the colors, and keep the parts that feel like you.
