Reading and searching
You do not need an account to read our guides. Our search runs in your browser using a downloaded search index. Search terms are not submitted to a search provider by this website.
Checklists on this device
When you tick a checklist, its selected items are saved in your browser's local storage so they remain available when you return. The task planners also save the owner names or initials you enter. The potluck worksheet saves your guest count, dish and contributor details, arrival and equipment notes, and oven bookings. The bridal shower budget worksheet saves your spending cap, cost estimates, quotes, agreed totals, payments, host contributions and notes. This data stays on this browser and is not sent to us or synchronized between devices. Use the checklist's Reset button, the relevant planner's clear button, or clear this site's browser data to remove your entries. Printed plans and CSV downloads are separate copies that remain wherever you save or share them. If browser storage is unavailable, the checklist still works during your visit.
Your cart
Your cart saves selected digital collections on this browser so you can return before checkout. It stores no payment details or private order links. Use Empty cart or clear this site's browser data to remove the selection. When saving is blocked, selected collection names can pass in the cart link so you can continue in the same tab.
When the account and shop-management features are enabled, our server also records selected collection IDs, add/remove actions and timestamps under a random first-party cart identifier. We use this to operate and understand the shop, including how many distinct browsers add each collection. This does not identify a person across devices. When you sign in, your cart can be associated with your verified member account. These operational records are held in private Vercel storage and are visible only to authorized administrators; payment card information, editor contents and private order links are not included.
Optional member accounts
You can create an account or sign in using a short-lived code sent to your email address. We keep your verified email address, optional name and registration date. Resend delivers the requested sign-in email. A secure first-party cookie maintains your sign-in session; signing out removes that cookie. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing messages, and making a guest purchase does not automatically register you as a member. Authorized administrators can see membership and purchase records to manage the shop. Sign-in and admin pages do not load advertising or public-page analytics.
Digital downloads
The free paper sample downloads without an account or email address. Its editor stores no project automatically and sends no wording or guest details to us. You can save a JSON project on your own device. Spreadsheet files and exported PDFs also remain wherever you save or share them. Share personal guest information only with helpers who need it.
Our standalone thank-you tracker, welcome-sign editor and paper-cutting planner keep your entries in the current tab and do not save them automatically or send them to us. Save a project file explicitly if you want to continue later. JSON, CSV and printed copies remain wherever you save or share them; clearing the tool does not remove those separate copies. The thank-you tracker records only the note progress you enter, and does not send messages or verify delivery.
Purchases
Checkout opens on Stripe, which processes payment and may collect your email address, billing details and transaction information. Fête & Fig verifies payment on its server and uses the order information to provide the purchased download and handle purchase support. Payment card details are entered on Stripe, rather than on this website. See Stripe's privacy policy for its practices.
Purchased collections are stored in private Vercel Blob storage. The download route checks your payment before delivering the file. Your private order link grants access to the download; keep it safe and avoid sharing it. When delivery emails are enabled, Resend processes the purchaser's email address and order-link message to send the transactional email. Purchase emails do not sign you up for a newsletter. Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Requests necessarily include technical information such as an IP address, browser information and requested URL. The hosting provider may process technical logs to deliver and secure the site. See Vercel's privacy notice for its practices.
Visits and resource use
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits to public pages, referring sites, broad country and device information, and which free resources people choose. It uses aggregated statistics and a short-lived anonymous visitor hash rather than advertising cookies. Approved Pinterest campaign labels may be included; other query values and URL fragments are removed. Search, account, admin, cart, private order and offline download-editor pages do not run this collector. Visits with a query-bearing or private-page referrer are skipped. We also honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Resource events contain an action name and a public resource identifier. They can record a PDF or CSV link click, opening an editor, a successful calculator result, preparation of a CSV, a print request or copying an invitation or thank-you example. They do not contain calculator inputs, food labels, names, gift details, personal notes, invitation text, recipes, search terms, saved projects or order tokens. A download click or print request does not prove that a file finished downloading or that paper was printed. Offline editors keep working without this collector. Affiliate links
Selected guides contain paid Amazon links. Clicking one opens Amazon, which receives the product address, our public affiliate tracking ID and the site origin under our referrer policy. Amazon handles its own shopping, cookies and purchase information; see Amazon’s privacy notice. We do not receive your Amazon account or payment details from these links. Our original tool illustrations are served with this site.
When the public-page analytics collector is enabled, an affiliate link click records only an approved story slug, product identifier and preparation-section identifier. It does not include a visitor name, Amazon account, calculator input or purchase details. A click does not prove a purchase. These events honor the same browser privacy choices and private-referrer exclusions as resource events.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense on public editorial pages. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and other identifiers and process your IP address, browser information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and protect ads. Google may personalize ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized ads or opt out through Google My Ad Center. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy for its practices.
Where a consent message is shown, your choices control the use of advertising cookies and personalized ads. You can change those choices through the message's privacy options. Fonts and editorial images are served with the site. We do not currently collect newsletter email addresses. The public-page collector receives only the approved resource and affiliate actions described above. Operational cart and account records are handled separately as described in this notice.
Following the publication
You can follow our RSS feed using a reader of your choice. Your reader's provider may process information under its own privacy policy. External links take you to websites with their own policies.
Changes
If we add email subscriptions, analytics or other services that change how information is handled, this notice will be updated before those features are introduced.
