One shared recipe, with room to continue.
Edit the text on fixed 4 × 6 inch cards. Ingredients, method and notes that need more room continue on numbered cards. Two cards fit an A4 or US Letter sheet.
The starter wording is a formatting prompt, not a recipe. Replace it with the contributor's actual recipe. This editor does not check cooking instructions or food suitability.
Edit your recipe
70 characters maximum; long wide lettering may still need shortening.
Up to 3,000 characters. A paste above the limit is rejected in full so no recipe steps disappear.
Up to 6,000 characters. Keep the complete instructions; split very long recipes into separate projects.
Up to 1,200 characters.
Use a short source reference. Keep any complete permission record separately.
One project, up to 64 KiB. Invalid files do not replace your current entries.
Use the selected paper, portrait, 100% scale, no margins, and turn browser headers and footers off.
Your card preview
Review every card. Small screens scroll sideways; the printed card size stays fixed.
Preparing the card preview.
Print one check sheet first
- Replace the starter prompts and review the full recipe. Shorten any title or metadata with a fit warning; long body text gets continuation cards.
- Save a private project JSON before leaving. The file keeps only this recipe and its selected paper. Reopen it through the file control; there is no autosave.
- Use the print button. Select the matching paper, portrait, 100% scale and no margins. Turn browser headers and footers off.
- Measure the one-inch test line. Trim just outside each card border, keeping any continuation cards together. A half-filled last sheet includes one blank continuation card.
The browser uses system fonts, so check the preview on the device that will print. Paper and printer margins vary. No physical printer has been tested.
No network request, account or autosave is used. Entries stay in this tab until you download a project or print. A project may contain personal names; keep it private. Clearing the editor does not delete downloaded files. Original free sample for personal gatherings; no resale or redistribution. Read the collection guide.
The recipe preview is not ready to print. Return to the editor and resolve its missing-field or fit warning, then use the print button.
